近日，零售巨頭家樂福、麥德龍相繼進駐湖北三線城市襄陽，加上6年前已落戶的沃爾瑪，全球三大零售巨頭已經齊聚襄陽。 “向三四線城市進軍，已成為零售巨頭的一個趨勢。”中投顧問研究員申正遠表示，襄陽近年來經濟迅速發展，給零售企業的生存創造了空間。
